Johanna is an experienced real estate investor and renovator, an awarded journalist, and a former nonprofit director. Johanna and her husband, Daryl, have spent the last 10+ years rebuilding and restoring homes and buildings in Lynchburg. After years as an owner and the Editor of five regional magazines, including the award-winning Lynchburg Living, Johanna served as the Communications & Marketing Director for anti-trafficking nonprofit Freedom 4/24 before transitioning full-time into leading, designing, and selling their many real estate endeavors. Johanna’s career began in TV news, where her work as a news and weather anchor, reporter, and producer garnered national Emmy, Peabody, and Edward R. Murrow team coverage awards. Johanna and Daryl are the proud parents of two energetic girls, Ella and Easton.
